Microsoft is expanding the Xbox Game Pass library with 13 new titles this May. Following the high-profile launch of Forza Horizon 6, the upcoming lineup features a mix of day-one indie releases and established hits.
A recent Xbox Wire blog post mentioned the games set to be added to Xbox Game Pass in May. The lineup includes Pigeon Simulator, Remnant II, Winter Burrow, My Friend Peppa Pig, and D*** Static Drive arriving May 20.
The list also includes other games like Luna Abyss, arriving on May 21, with Escape Simulator, Microsoft Jewel, and World of Tanks: Heat arriving on May 26.
Echo Generation 2 and The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition are also joining the roster on May 27, along with Crashout Crew and Kabuto Park arriving on May 28.
While most of these games were released a while ago, some of them will drop as day-one releases, including Luna Abyss, Echo Generation 2, Crashout Crew, and Kabuto Park.
Here is a closer look at the gameplay for these upcoming releases.
Games Releasing As Day-Ones On Xbox Game Pass
Luna Abyss is a first-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game featuring bullet-hell combat. Players take on the role of Fawkes, a prisoner, and explore a derelict megastructure beneath the mimic moon Luna.
On the other hand, Echo Generation 2 is a turn-based sci-fi deckbuilding RPG game from developer Cococucumber. It features tactical card combat where players can build their crew and create powerful decks while trying to decipher a cosmic threat approaching.
Crashout Crew gives players an adrenaline rush with its co-op, physics-based chaotic gameplay, where they need to drive forklifts to complete shipping orders.
Rounding out the list is Kabuto Park, a cozy indie RPG where players take on the role of Hana and catch bugs, leveling them up before ultimately battling other bugs in the Summer Beetle Battles tournament.
These 13 additions significantly bolster the Xbox Game Pass library for May. Also, with the inclusion of these four day-one titles, Xbox has certainly given its Game Pass subscribers a solid package.
