What's Free on the Epic Games Store Right Now? (May 21-28)

The Epic Games Store has unveiled two new free games available until May 28, 2026. This is part of the mystery games event, in which players currently get two new games every week.

Players can claim Down in Bermuda and Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Edition for free on the Epic Games Store. This offer will run from May 21 to May 28, 2026.

The Tomb Raider pack is certainly an interesting addition to the Epic Games Store mystery games event. It gives players a taste of Lara Croft's original adventures, which Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics restored.

The developers remastered the game by giving it upgraded character models, better textures, lighting, and more. These changes made the games more fitting for modern machines.

More About This Week's Free Games

In the Tomb Raider games, players assume the role of Lara Croft as she explores various myths in lost cities, fighting dangerous foes. It's a classic with very positive reviews on Steam. The remastering of the games does justice to their quality.

The remastered version available on the store also offers all the expansions of the three titles. This means players get Unfinished Business, Golden Mask, and The Last Artifact DLCs in the pack of three.

Furthermore, the new Challenge Mode will also be available in-game, which allows one to replay levels with various modifiers.

The second game available for free on the Epic Games Store is Down in Bermuda. You play as Milton, an adventurous aviator who has crash-landed in a time bubble in Bermuda.

Players must solve puzzles, collect items, and unlock the mysteries of six islands to return home. The indie puzzle-solving adventure comes from Yak & Co.

The game was originally released on January 14, 2021, and has thousands of positive reviews on Steam. It's not demanding in terms of space and requires 1 GB of available storage.

Yak & Co have previously created another puzzle-solving game called Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise.

The next set of games will arrive on the Epic Games Store on May 28, 2026. After that, one last pair of titles is set to go on sale for free on the platform.

Players simply need to have an Epic Games Store account to claim these games. Since they are free, no payments or bank account setups are necessary.

However, ensure you claim the games before May 28, 2026, before they get replaced by two new titles.
