What’s Free on the Epic Games Store Right Now? (May 7-14)

With Epic Games Store and Steam handing out free games every two to three days, players get the option to play an array of games without spending a dime. For the week of May 7 to 14, Epic Games Store has returned with two more free games.

Those two cozy indie games are Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Trash Goblin.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure

This is a charming, indie, story-driven puzzle adventure game in which players take on the role of Jemma, a small-town misfit embarking on a journey of self-discovery.

The game is developed by Furniture & Mattress LLC, and features a unique, interconnected gameplay grid system that moves or snaps as Jemma moves and engages in combat.

The game doesn't have XP or inventory to manage and comes with an 8-10-hour campaign.

Trash Goblin

Trash Goblin by Spilt Milk Studios is a wholesome, cozy shopkeeping game with no pressure or stress. You get to uncover and clean trinkets to then upcycle them and sell to quirky customers.

The game features four distinct locations to visit and sell in, and customization and expansion of the shop. Also, it has over 120 quests and 40 unique NPC characters to sell the trinkets to.

While these two games take center stage on Epic Games this week, it was Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure and Firestone: Online Idle RPG, which were the two free games Epic offered last week.

But this isn't all from Epic. It is reportedly adding iconic mom characters in Fortnite for a special occasion this week.

Epic Games' gift ahead of Mother's Day

Epic Games is adding three characters to Fortnite this week. Those are Lois Griffin from Family Guy, Peggy Hill from King of the Hill, and Linda Belcher from Bob's Burgers.

The characters will head to Fortnite on May 8, just a few days before Mother's Day, which is celebrated on May 10. Epic Games tweeted via the official Fortnite X account, writing, "The Moms deserve a little vacation."

The characters will be available individually or in bundles. Also available on May 8 is the Chrysler Pacifica vehicle. Other than this, players can also purchase the Klassic Kombat bundle and the Slurp Puppy Sidekick, and the Elemental Court bundle starting from May 9.

All in all, keep an eye on stores like Steam and Epic Games Store for free games, and don't forget to enjoy new content in existing perpetual freebies like Fortnite.
