The goliath of the video gaming industry, Konami, has just posted its financial report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. According to the report, Konami's total revenue for the year amounted to ¥493,677 million, or approximately US $3.1 billion.
The report also indicates a year-on-year increase of 17.1% in profit. The report also reported that Konami's total revenue in the "Digital Entertainment" segment alone amounted to a massive ¥370,950 million, approximately US $2.3 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 21.5%.
Additionally, its business profit was ¥143,583 million with a year-on-year increase of 31.6%, approximately US $910 million, and its operating profit was ¥135,891 million with a year-on-year increase of 33.3%, approximately US $860 million.
Konami also stated that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER has achieved global shipments of more than two million units. Also, the new psychological horror title SILENT HILL f has been "well received by customers all around the world."
Additionally, Konami also stated, "eFootball™, which is available for home consoles, PC, and mobile devices, has continued to perform well, with the series surpassing one billion cumulative downloads."
Furthermore, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL has also surpassed 90 million downloads and continues to be well-received by many customers. Konami has also announced its plans for the Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2027.

Konami's Plans For The Future
Konami wants more players to play its games on any device and will provide more ways to do so.
"We plan to release METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol," Konami stated further. "2, we are also diligently developing for release SILENT HILL: Townfall, the latest Silent Hill series title set on a fictional, isolated island in Scotland."
Konami plans to release more games in the current fiscal year, with a full-fledged soccer action game called eFootball Kick-Off!, for the Nintendo Switch 2. Also, Konami stated that it is developing Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, its first commemorative project marking the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania series.
Talking about its baseball titles, Konami stated, "We plan to
release PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2026-2027 and eBaseball: PRO SPIRIT 2026." Konami will also be co-hosting "eJ.League eFootball 2026 Season" with the Japan Professional Football League.
With such a fantastic fiscal year and so many titles to come in the future, Konami is undoubtedly back in the gaming industry with a bang.
