2026 PlayStation State of Play Menu Revealed Ahead of Event

The 2026 PlayStation State of Play is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 2, for most of the world. Marvel's Wolverine is a key highlight of the event, and apart from that, no games have been announced or leaked.

However, the State of Play food menu has found its way to the internet early. And it's all Wolverine-themed. X user @ZhugeEX posted a picture of the menu on May 31.

The food menu offers four types of items: Savage Sticks, Rage Pizza, Last Stand, and Mutant Instinct.

Savage Sticks are essentially hot pretzel sticks offered with a marinara dip, while Rage Pizza has a variety of toppings, including mushrooms, pepperoni, and pork sausage.

On the other hand, Last Stand and Mutant Instinct are alcoholic beverages. The Last Stand drink has a vodka and coffee liqueur base. Meanwhile, Mutant Instinct is made with Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey and Mezcal.

Though the names are X-Men and Wolverine-themed, they may also offer insight into gameplay features. Mutant Instinct could be much like Spider-Man's Spidey Sense, which alerts him to threats.

On the other hand, Rage Pizza could be a reference to Wolverine's infamous rage. It could be a heightened mode for the character where his attacks are charged and more dangerous.

That being said, there's no real understanding of what the gameplay may look like. The names could be a nod to the existing X-Men literature or hints at what is yet to come.

Marvel's Wolverine is one of the biggest games to be revealed at the 2026 State of Play. It is the next game by Insomniac after Marvel's Spider-Man 1.

For now, it's also the only featured game we know of ahead of the event, which begins at 5 p.m. ET. The marketing choice, then, makes some sense.

GameStop Has Potentially Prepared for Pre-Orders After PlayStation State of Play

X user @pyromidofficial took to the platform to share a poster they took inside a GameStop store. The image shows a poster of Marvel's Wolverine on display inside the shop.

The user notified fans of the pre-orders going live on June 2, 2026, right after the PlayStation State of Play event. Moreover, the game is also up on the GameStop site as "coming soon."

It is also believed that the standard edition of the game will cost $69.99, the standard for all AAA games, with the collector's edition possibly going up to $249,99. However, the actual prices are yet to be confirmed.

The will only become evident after State of Play ends. The event is set to be over an hour long and will likely feature several exciting reveals.
