With the end of April, a new and the final month of the lovely season, Spring, comes: May. This is the month where your GPUs start to sweat, with new major titles also coming along the way.
Several upcoming AAA titles feature high-fidelity graphics and deep narratives. Major games like Forza Horizon 6 and 007: First Light make their way onto your PC to push them to the limit.
From high-concept indie games like Outbound to horror masterpieces by The Dark Pictures Anthology team that take you to outer space, May represents a significant month for PC hardware enthusiasts.
Forza Horizon 6
Forza Horizon 6 headlines the May release schedule. This open-world arcade racer is one of the best in the genre. You get to explore Japan's car culture this time around, with more than 550 cars. The 6th iteration will take you through scenic coastlines, bamboo forests, and gigantic mountains. It will feature the whole of Tokyo as part of its massive map.

007: First Light
The Hitman games' developers, IO Interactive, look to delve into the James Bond world this time, with the game following a young rookie Bond. The action-adventure game will include sandbox stealth, cinematic scenes, action, as well as multiple gadgets.

Directive 8020 is a cinematic sci-fi survival horror game developed by Supermassive Games. Starring Lashana Lynch as astronaut Brianna Young, the fifth installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology provides you with daunting narrative-based choices. You'll explore an eerie planet, Tau Ceti f, as this character-driven title will make you play on the edge of your seat.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
This open-world action-adventure game, developed by TT Games, features over 100 suits to play in and more than 20 vehicles to explore the massive, seamless Gotham City. There is a new combat system in the game, allowing you to swap between different versions of the Bat. Moreover, players can play as Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies
Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is a combatless espionage RPG developed by ZA/UM. Players will follow Hershel Wilk and manage a crew of agents trying to solve various puzzles and decode the mysteries of the city. This dialogue-driven game from the studio behind Disco Elysium focuses on paranoia and memory. The noir-style title is gaining significant traction among RPG fans.

Mixtape
Beethoven & Dinosaur, from Annapurna Interactive, brings a narrative adventure game that follows three friends as they reminisce about coming-of-age stories and memories via a mixtape, with a ’90s soundtrack jamming. Players can click on photographs, skateboard through the environment, and even fly in certain parts of the game.

Thick as Thieves
Thick as Thieves is a stealth-action game that can be played solo or co-op. OtherSide Entertainment makes you focus on high-stakes missions where you'll need to use a set of tools and gadgets to evade and loot the area. It’s gritty, tactical, and deeply atmospheric.

Outbound
This is a cozy, open-world exploration and crafting game developed by Square Glade Games. Players will build a mobile camper van home while exploring a slow-paced, vivid, and relaxing world, with up to four players able to play at a time. Think of it as a cozy, nomadic version of Minecraft, where the goal is immersion.

Wax Heads
This cozy-punk narrative simulation will let you manage a shop known as Repeater Records. Players will need to serve quirky customers who want vinyl records. The hand-drawn art-style game will feature more than 80 albums and allow you to discover iconic bands and music throughout the gameplay.
