Subnautica 2 players can now track down every lore-filled Black Box currently hidden in the Early Access depths. Finding these recordings is essential for uncovering the secrets of the game's new underwater regions.

These are the Black Boxes currently available in the Early Access version of the game. Some are comparatively easier to find than others due to being located near the Lifepod.

Unlike the PDA entries from the first game, which mostly were scattered audio logs and survivor recordings, the Black Boxes are directly tied to the lore progression in-game, making them more important for advancing through the Early Access story.

The first Black Boxes players should prioritize are Anita, Zygimantis "Mantis" Tarvydas, both Chap "Chap" Sovann boxes, and the Singh box near the small cliff, as they are easy to locate and help progress the story early on.
