As the FIFA World Cup captures global attention, XBOX is adding several soccer-themed games, including EA Sports FC 26, which now features the entire 48-nation tournament through a new update.
The lineup also includes a long-requested Game Pass addition alongside several other soccer-themed releases. Here's a closer look at the games recently added to XBOX.
EA Sports FC 26 - June 18
EA's FIFA partnership may have come to an end, but that only meant a change in the name of the game. With EA Sports FC 26 maintaining the level of popularity EA's annual soccer video game has managed to garner over the years.
It will now become part of XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and will be included in PC Game Pass from June 18.

The refreshing part is that, while EA Sports FC 26 was released last year, a new World Cup-timed update allows you to play the entire 48-nation event in the game.
Do You Really Know About Soccer? - June 16
Sticking to the soccer theme, Do You Really Know About Soccer? doesn't have soccer gameplay mechanics but is still directly related to the sport.
It is a quiz game where you must answer questions to continue climbing the floors of the Football Tower before reaching the summit.
You can now test your soccer knowledge while also boosting your dopamine levels through the arcade-style quiz game. Also, since watchalongs have become quite popular these days, your friend group can use the game to see who knows the most about soccer.
Soccer Kid Collection - June 18
While Soccer Kid Collection is thematically about soccer, the only soccer-related gameplay mechanic involves the ball at your feet.
Soccer Kid Collection is actually a platformer, with the new collection combining the SNES and MS-DOS versions with modern-era features.

The premise is also pretty unique. Aliens steal the World Cup trophy, break it into pieces, and scatter it across the globe. It is now in your hands, as a young soccer fan, to wander the world, collect the pieces, and rebuild the trophy in all its glory.
Soccer Kid Collection combines retro platforming with the craze of soccer, and it will be interesting to see fans' response to the game once it arrives on June 18.
Copa City - June 16
Perhaps one of the best games for soccer fans who believe they can run a club, and for those who want to experience something new in the genre of soccer-related games.
Copa City takes you away from the football field and puts you in the role of a director responsible for everything that happens before a game.
In Copa City, you must manage transportation, fan service, the stadium, security, and much more, with your success measured by a new standard called Match Readiness.
Consider it a game in the spirit of tycoon games, but with soccer as the central theme instead of trains, wildlife, or everyday life.
