What Has Sony Confirmed So Far?
As of now, there is only one confirmed game appearance: Marvel's Wolverine. Developer Insomniac Games will begin the show with fresh gameplay and additional details about the upcoming third-person action-adventure title.
Sony has specifically highlighted Wolverine’s combat and promised a closer look ahead of its exclusive PS5 launch on September 15, 2026.
How Long Will State of Play Be?
Sony’s official wording is simple: more than 60 minutes. That means, beyond Marvel's Wolverine, the upcoming event has a lot to offer.
This is also supported by outside reports surrounding select U.S. theater screening listings, which point toward a 90-minute event duration. However, Sony has not officially confirmed a 90-minute runtime.
With Summer Game Fest and other June showcases close behind, PlayStation’s State of Play is set to start a busy week for game announcements.
