If you loved watching shows like Lost, South Park, or The Simpsons, you're in luck.
Here are nine games that successfully brought popular American TV shows to life.
This list is unranked, and the entries were selected at random from IMDb.

It's the right game for you if you like ARPGs and are a fan of the show or the books by George R. R. Martin.
24: The Game - 2006
24 was a crime drama starring Kiefer Sutherland as Agent Jack Bauer. As the name suggests, Bauer's missions generally force him into a 24-hour timeline where each episode represents one hour in real time.
The show often employed a timer to show Bauer's life and the progress of his missions.
The series was converted into a third-person shooter developed by SCEE Cambridge Studio. Kiefer Sutherland returns as Agent Bauer in the game, and the plot takes place between Seasons Two and Three.
The TV show's cinematographer, Rodney Charters, also worked on the game, which helped its cutscenes and visuals.
24: The Game is an action-packed thriller that gives you the essence of the show with car chases, shootouts, and intense combat sequences.

Players can pick from one of many classes. You can be a Speedster, a Brawler, an Elementalist, and more. The game features turn-based combat and the same kind of humor that may fit perfectly into a South Park episode.
It's a good adaptation that retains qualities you may see in the show while introducing a concept that somehow makes sense.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds - 2003
Way before The Vampire Diaries and Twilight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer defined the genre. The American horror show follows Buffy Summers as she accepts her destiny as a young vampire hunter.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is a beat 'em up game developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software. It was a delightful adventure with various game modes.
The main single-player mode featured Buffy and her friends as they defeated vampires, zombies, and other creatures. Various enemies appeared in the game as a result of different realities bleeding into Buffy's world.
She is also tasked with saving Ethan Rayne from The First and protecting the world. The game featured multiplayer modes too, allowing players to compete against or alongside one another.
Ben 10: Protector Of Earth - 2007
Ben 10 is one of the most beloved American animated TV shows of all time. Benjamin Tennyson receives the Omnitrix, which allows him to turn into various alien species and defeat extraterrestrial threats.
In 2007, High Voltage Software released a beat 'em up game featuring iconic aliens such as Heatblast, Four Arms, XLR8, and more.
Ben must travel to various locations and take down enemies to retrieve alien DNA samples. So, at the beginning, he doesn't have all of his aliens. As you defeat bosses, you unlock new aliens to play as.
Lost: Via Domus - 2008
Lost took television by storm when it started airing in 2004. The show featured several strangers getting stranded on a tropical island after surviving a plane crash.
Based on the show, Lost: Via Domus was released in February 2008 when the show was in its fourth season. Split into seven episodes, the video game employs puzzle-solving, fetch quests, and more.
You play as a new survivor who is stranded on the island with other main cast members such as Sawyer, Jack, Locke, Kate, and more.
Overall, it's a decent option to explore if you're looking to experience the TV show in a unique new way.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run - 2003
The Simpsons is perhaps one of the most popular American shows in the world. It is the epitome of satire, and its humor became iconic over the years.
In The Simpsons: Hit & Run, you play as Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, and Apu in different levels. The Simpsons, along with Apu, discover that aliens are planning to take over Springfield and must do all they can to defeat them.
Gameplay-wise, you can launch several melee attacks against enemies. As the name suggests, you must also drive cars across Springfield and avoid hitting pedestrians, which is easier said than done.
It's a fun rendition of the characters and the show at large, which is worth a shot for fans.
Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl - 2021
If there is one game that brings together characters like SpongeBob, April O'Neil, and Zim, it's Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl.
