Scarcity of items is what drives prices in the Roblox market. Hence, limited items are the most expensive ones and sell for extravagant prices on the Roblox market, counted in terms of Robux.

For the most expensive limited items in Roblox history, we have used the Recent Average Price (RAP). A limited item's RAP is heavily influenced by recent sales and their impact on the item's overall average price over time.

We will look at the nine most expensive limited Roblox items according to this parameter, from least to most expensive.

9. Purple Sparkle Time Fedora (RAP: 4,020,912 Robux)

The second hat in the Sparkle Time Fedora series, Purple Sparkle Time Fedora, was released in 2011 by Roblox. It was later re-textured at the Roblox Corporation Headquarters by Roblox user Pieperson50.

Only 100 copies of the Purple Fedora were on sale for 10,000 Robux each at the time. The item was part of a Make-A-Wish grant for Pieperson50, as per Roblox Wiki.

8. Red Sparkle Time Fedora (RAP: 4,357,973 Robux)

A special Valentine's Day Celebration release by Roblox in 2013, Red Sparkle Time Fedora was the third hat in the Sparkle Time Fedora series. Roblox had made 100 copies available for sale at 10,000 Robux each.

The hat is a red fedora with a silver band around it, and has a distinct texture around it. This limited item has been favorited 49,063 times so far.

7. Blackvalk (RAP: 4,745,441 Robux)

Blackvalk was released in 2013 by Roblox as part of the Retro Weekend 2013 sale, and could be purchased for 1,000,000 Tickets, an alternate Roblox currency.

About 234 copies of the limited hat were sold before the item went limited, and it has currently been favorited 138,918 times.

6. Domino Crown (RAP: 5,726,071 Robux)

The first-ever variant of the Domino Crown series, this Roblox item was released in 2007 and was awarded as a prize in the June 2007 Domino Rally Building Contest.

Only 18 pieces were awarded before it went limited, with some of them being gifted on special occasions to certain users and bug finders.

5. Orange Sparkle Time Fedora (RAP: 6,969,690 Robux)

Part of the 2015 Fedora Fest mini-sale, Orange Sparkle Time Fedora was the seventh hat in the Sparkle Time Fedora series. The item had 100 copies on sale for 50,000 Robux at the time.

Out of the 100 copies made available during the mini-sale, a Roblox developer named No1_Preston, singlehandedly owns 19 Orange Sparkle Time Fedora hats.

4. Dominus Pittacium (RAP: 7,028,998 Robux)

Published in 2016 for Tixapalooza, Dominus Pittacium was on sale for 30 days for a cost of 5,000,000 Tickets, a former Roblox currency alongside Robux.

The ninth hat in the Dominus series was purchased 39 times and has been favorited over 53,000 times according to the records till July 9.

3. Dominus Empyreus (RAP: 13,577,229 Robux)

One of the rarest hats in the Dominus series in current times, Dominus Empyreus was released in 2010 and had 26 copies for sale at 13,337 Robux each.

It was the first Dominus hat and is one of the most favorited hats of the entire series.

2. Dominus Astra (RAP: 14,321,557 Robux)

Initially named Dominus Noctis, Roblox released Dominus Astra in 2014 as part of the Midnight Sale of that year. The item had 26 copies available in the store for the cost of 75,000 Robux each, and sold out in only 7 seconds.

The seventh hat in the Dominus series, Dominus Astra's description 'Carpe Noctem' translates to 'seize the night', which meshes well with the Midnight Sale theme.

1. Dominus Frigidus (RAP: 25,066,312 Robux)

Dominus Frigidus is a uniquely shaped hood-like hat released by Roblox in 2011. There were only 26 copies of the item available on the market during its release, with users able to purchase it for a mere 39,000 Robux.

It is the third hat in the Dominus series and was designed by user Sethycakes as part of his wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

These limited items are available in sporadic quantities and are mostly hoarded by Roblox members waiting for prices to reach their desired threshold.
