The month of May is proving highly productive for gamers. PlayStation has already deployed its titles onto the console, with a total of 12 games.
It is clear that both PlayStation and Xbox are competing to provide players with the best selection of titles available. Maintaining its competitive momentum, Xbox has announced the list of games available for the week of May 4 to 10 via an Xbox Wire blog post.
The list includes an array of genres, from the RPG Axe Cop to the roguelite Dungeonloop to the puzzle game Golem Lights. Many of these games have also been optimized for Xbox Series X|S, while some are Xbox Play Anywhere titles, enabling them to be played across the Xbox ecosystem.

Xbox has announced an even bigger slate, with a total of 22 games coming to players this week alone. There are also several new titles launching as day-one releases on Xbox, including Tri6: Infinite 2 and Akuma Rise.
5 Titles To Start Off Your Week With On Xbox
With over 20 new games available, players have a wide variety of choices. The following five games are the most notable additions.
Hydroneer
Hydroneer is a physics-based mining sandbox game where you dig for resources like gold to build large mining machines. You can create custom, complex systems and workshops to transport materials and craft jewelry, tools, and weapons. The game features hydro-powered machines and a tycoon-style progression system.
Noodlebound
This is an action-packed 2D pixel art platformer developed by Afil Games. If you have ever wondered what would happen if those scrumptious ingredients suddenly came to life, this game is for you. Players take on the role of a ramen samurai to recover ingredients that came to life due to a mage's magic.
Froggy Hates Snow
Froggy Hates Snow is a survival roguelike action game. It is not often you see a literal frog struggling while stuck in the snow. Players control Froggy, a determined survivor who fights various creatures and digs deep to find treasures. You also need to keep upgrading your abilities to withstand the harsh and torrential weather of the snowy desert.
Decline's Drops
Decline's Drops is a fully hand-drawn 2D action platformer and brawler. Players take on the role of Globule, a wooden puppet battling the "Decline," which is destroying Globule's world, a ravaged garden. The game features a daunting yet beautiful artistic style with a melancholic theme.
Tri6: Infinite 2
Want to feel that rush of adrenaline that makes you feel like you are in a Tron-like world? Tri6: Infinite 2 delivers exactly that experience. It is an endless arcade racer set in cyberspace with enhanced procedurally generated tracks and includes 10 power-ups. Dodge enemies' technologically advanced systems.
