Apr 19, 2026, 5:00 PM CUT

This week, PlayStation has taken a lighter turn. That doesn't mean variety is dropping off anywhere near. PS5 and PS4 players are getting a mix of indie experiments, strategy titles, and a few popular ones between April 20 and 26. That's why it's not about quantity, it's about quality.

Let's get into the details of five PlayStation titles in particular:

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege

Set in 1698 within the Holy Roman Empire, a corrupted priest disrupts peace by stealing religious relics.

Players step into the role of a former soldier named Rudiger, who now has the responsibility to protect his homeland. The game follows an NES-style structure with multiple stages, enemies, and boss fights.

Dark Hours

Your crew gets trapped in a building in a failed heist attempt. Power outage turns the environment hostile, monsters hunt everyone inside, and the whole scenario becomes more brutal. It's best for you to avoid threats rather than direct combat.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes shifts the series into a first-person PSVR2 experience. Players need to interact directly with the environment and move through confined spaces. The atmosphere gets tense because of the limited sound and visibility.

Drop Duchy: Complete Edition

Drop Duchy: Complete Edition moves on from traditional line-clearing mechanics and focuses on kingdom-building systems. Territory expands upon placing geometric pieces, all while managing threats and resources.

Traysia

Traysia depicts the story of a young protagonist who leaves home to become an adventurer. The narrative and progression of the game are shaped by how the game is structured around multiple scenarios. Rather than a complex system, the focus remains on character journey and world-building.

So, which one will you be launching on your PlayStation this week?
