With the FIFA World Cup 2026 underway, football fans have more gaming options than ever. Rather than one blockbuster World Cup release, players can choose between five different experiences, from Netflix's official FIFA title to tournament modes in EA Sports FC 26, eFootball, Football Manager 26, and Roblox.
GCML presents five games that you can enjoy during the tournament.
1. FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition
FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition is the officially branded FIFA World Cup 2026 video game. It is available through Netflix and features all 48 participating nations, 1,248 players, and all 16 tournament stadiums across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Players use their smartphones as controllers, whereas the matches are displayed on TVs or supported browsers. From Kick-Off and Tournament to Penalty Shootout modes, this game is the closest thing to a dedicated World Cup game in 2026.
2. EA Sports FC 26
EA Sports FC 26 has long moved on from the FIFA bracket. But that doesn't mean it won't offer a World Cup-style experience, thanks to its "The World's Game" update. Just like the IRL event, the mode features a 48-team tournament structure, complete with group stages and knockout rounds.

Players can choose from 53 licensed national teams. International football also appears across Ultimate Team, Player Career, and Manager Career. This update makes the game one of the most complete options.
3. eFootball
Konami's football simulation has also come up with the International Cup 2026 mode. In this mode, players can pick their favorite team and guide it through a tournament inspired by the World Cup.
Alongside this, there is special World Cup content, such as campaign rewards and player cards based on real tournament performances. However, some national teams lack licensing. The gameplay, however, makes up for it.
4. Football Manager 26
For the first time in the franchise's history, FM26 is going to be officially partnered with FIFA. The game includes a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 mode that lets players take charge of any of the 48 qualified nations.

Managers can jump directly into the tournament, build squads, and adjust tactics, thus navigating the competition from the group stage to the final. It is the best option for those who want to make their strategies work on the field while staying off it.
5. FIFA Super Soccer (Roblox)
FIFA has also partnered with Roblox through FIFA Super Soccer. This game hosts an official FIFA World Cup 2026 event. The experience includes all 48 national teams, World Cup-themed stadiums, live score integrations, and tournament standings.
The event runs throughout the tournament and gives Roblox players a dedicated World Cup hub. It offers a more casual experience than traditional football simulators.
ENVER Studio's FIFA Heroes also deserves a mention. The arcade-style 5v5 mobile game is set to launch on June 22, 2026, but because it is not yet available, it has been left off the list.
