It will also be livestreamed on the Xbox Facebook page and broadcast live on Steam, where a dedicated events page lists all the confirmed games ahead of the show.
Fans in China can catch the show on Bilibili at 1 a.m. CST, and viewers in the U.S. can also watch it on Amazon Live, along with Prime Video on Fire TV.
Finally, regional Xbox and Bethesda channels will also broadcast the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 live.
Many regions have their own dedicated Xbox YouTube channels. So, if you want to watch the show in a different language, you can click the gear icon in the bottom-right corner to find the regional channel.
Overall, the Xbox Games Showcase comes with a ton of viewing options, and by proxy, so does the Gears of War: E-Day Direct broadcast. The question arises, why should fans watch it?
A Few Reasons To Watch the Xbox Games Showcase 2026
Apart from the obvious Gears of War: E-Day Direct event afterward, the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 has a few heavy hitters to offer.
Fans will also get a look at State of Decay 3. The game was first announced in 2020, and it is the next entry in the popular franchise. The game has earned praise ahead of release.
“And from what I’ve heard … it sounds like Undead Labs really, really nailed the ‘AAA’ feel that was absent from State of Decay 2,” said Windows Central's Jez Corden in a recent report.
Apart from this, Playground Games' Fable will also be shown. It's an upcoming open-world third-person ARPG. If the name sounds familiar, it's because the developer is rebooting the Fable series with the new title.
Another interesting return to a franchise is Minecraft Dungeons II. It's a sequel to Mojang Studio's dungeon crawler, which offers four-player co-op in new, thrilling zones that may be perfect for players who enjoyed the first game.
With a history of featuring blockbuster announcements and unexpected reveals, the Xbox Games Showcase has become one of the gaming industry's marquee annual events, and 2026 looks no different.
