Forza Horizon 6 takes the festival to Japan and brings back the most grueling endurance challenge in franchise history. Just like previous editions, the Goliath race takes you across the entirety of the map.
Series veterans will likely recognize the classic race format. The Goliath Race is iconic and also one of the most difficult races to unlock in most Forza Horizon games.
To unlock the Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 6, players need to have the golden wristband. The game consists of 7 wristbands, with each unlocking new events progressively.
New wristbands can be unlocked by collecting enough Horizon Festival Points. To get the golden wristband, players will need 32,500 Horizon Festival Points.
Reaching this threshold requires completing a wide variety of races and festival objectives.
Horizon Festival Points can be earned by participating in and winning races. The best way to collect enough points is to win every race, from dirt to cross-country. Finish first in every category to earn the maximum number of points.
You can also participate in Time Attack Circuits or Drift Zones to earn points. Finally, racing others in Horizon Play also earns you points.
Earning Extra Points to Unlock The Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 6
There is also a neat trick players can use in every race to earn a few extra Horizon Festival Points. As the race is about to begin, players can enter Photo Mode using the 'P' key on the keyboard or the Up button on the D-pad of the controller.
Take a picture with all the cars in the frame, and players will earn extra points for every new car captured in the image. This goal allows players to catalog every vehicle while earning progression rewards.
For each new car, players can earn up to 10 extra points. Players can then go to the Collection Journal and enter the Horizon Festival section. Next, head to the Horizon Promo page, where extra points can be collected from the top-right corner.
With this neat trick, players can collect extra points and unlock the Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 6 faster.
Remember, once you get the golden wristband, head straight to the Horizon Legend wristband event located at Ito Airfield. Finishing this event will lead you to Legend Island.
On Legend Island, players will unlock several races, one of which is the coveted Goliath Race. Keep in mind that the race can take upwards of 20 to 25 minutes to complete.
In fact, most races on Legend Island are long and will take a while to finish.
