Early Access to Halo: Campaign Evolved begins on July 23, 2026, for players who preorder the Collector's and Premium Editions. That's five days earlier than the Standard Edition, which releases on July 28.

The Premium Edition, priced at $69.99, is not just limited to the early access, it also includes the Alpha Halo Armory Pack, which contains 5 Master Chief armor skins and 6 weapon skins.

In addition to the above, it includes the Digital Story Collection, Halo: Hungry Buzzards, a digital short story that leads into the events of Operation: METEORITE, a new three-mission story arc in the game.

Finally, it also features The Art of Halo: Campaign Evolved digital artbook and a digital game manual inspired by the original 2001 game.

The other big option is preordering the Halo: Campaign Evolved Collector's Edition, priced at $199.99. This edition is available for purchase on HaloWaypoint.

Players will get all the rewards from the Premium Edition, plus a 12-inch Dark Horse Master Chief statue.

Additionally, buyers will also receive an LED Cortana Chip, Steelbook, a physical reimagined game manual, three concept art prints, and a game disc for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

This version is meant for enthusiasts and veterans of the game. Those who have been fans of Master Chief since the early days may want to snag this edition to decorate their rooms.

Given its high price, it's not the best choice for beginners. If you're a first-time player, the Standard Edition is the better option. It costs $49.99 and includes all gameplay content.

Halo: Campaign Evolved Preorder Bonus

Players can also opt to preorder Halo: Campaign Evolved for a sweet bonus. Preordering any edition of the game rewards players with the Foundry Armory Pack.

The pack features 2 Master Chief skins, including the Classic 2001 Mark V Armor and the Gilded Onyx Armor style. It also includes the original Classic 2001 Assault Rifle skin from Halo: Combat Evolved.

To match the character skin, the Gilded Onyx Assault Rifle style is also included.

Getting the game before its slated July 28, 2026, release date will earn players all of these rewards. The title is currently available for preorder on Steam, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store.
