June 2026 will be a stacked month for gaming showcases. Four upcoming events will take place in one single month, which may bring about a ton of new previews.

The four gaming showcases lined up for June 2026 are Summer Game Fest, Sony's State of Play, Xbox Games Showcase, and Nintendo Direct, per HazzadorGamin on X.

State of Play 2026 will be the first event of the month, set to go live on June 2. Sony has promised over an hour's worth of content, which starts with a new look at Marvel's Wolverine by Insomniac Games.

Interestingly, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously revealed that GTA 6's marketing will begin in the summer months. This has led some to speculate that this could receive a new preview during State of Play.

The same applies to the Summer Game Fest, which will broadcast on June 5. Fans may expect reveals such as Control Resonant, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, and more, but there is no confirmation yet.

Next in line is the Xbox Games Showcase airing on June 7. A new look at Gears of War: E-Day has been confirmed; however, other reveals are still a mystery.

Regardless, some expect the Fable reboot by Playground Games, as well as something about the next Call of Duty Game. However, managing expectations would be advisable given the secretive nature of the showcase.

Finally, a Nintendo Direct broadcast may occur in mid-June, considering previous patterns. Official dates have yet to be revealed by the gaming giant.

Games Coming in 2026 Fans Want to See at Gaming Showcases

Game showcases and events attract millions of viewers thanks to the games players hope to see during the broadcast. Naturally, games like GTA 6 and Insomniac Games's Wolverine have their own gravitational pull.

However, these aren't the only interesting and anticipated titles in 2026. Capcom's Onimusha: Way of the Sword is also coming in 2026. This is a brand-new mainline game where players play as Miyamoto Musashi, the legendary samurai.

Control Resonant is yet another popular and upcoming title. The first game by Remedy Entertainment gained mass acclaim for its stunning visuals, immersive gameplay, and unique setting.

Now, the sequel is set to come out in 2026; however, an official date has not been revealed just yet. Apart from this, GAME FREAK's Beast of ReIncarnation also looks brilliant.

This action-RPG is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan where players control the outcast Emma alongside her companion, Koo. The game is scheduled to launch on August 4.
