Subscribed to Meta Horizon+? You can now play 50+ XBOX Game Pass games, including the likes of Fallout 4 and Grounded, for no extra cost. All, delivered straight to your headset. Here's how.
Meta Horizon+ now offers a starter edition of the Game Pass on its subscription service. This edition includes 10 hours of cloud gaming each month, four display sizes, and progress you can carry over to other devices.
The subscription also offers 100+ VR games from its own library, further increasing playing options.
The library expands further with titles like Fallout 76, Overcooked 2, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, SnowRunner, and more offered by XBOX.

The announcement was made via an official Meta blog post published on July 21, 2026. It also revealed the company’s future plans.
In the coming weeks, Meta plans to launch a gamepad emulator to help Meta Quest Touch controllers mimic an XBOX controller. However, if you already have a controller, it can be paired directly to the headset for a familiar yet new experience.
The move matters because it gives users a bigger reason to perhaps purchase one of Meta's headsets. Game Pass offers unique and famous titles, certain to draw fans.
This isn’t the first time Meta and XBOX have collaborated. The two previously released the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition, which blended VR and console gaming.
The limited edition device cost $399.99 USD at launch and sold out within weeks.
XBOX isn’t the only other brand Meta has collaborated with in recent history. The new partnership comes after its May pairing with Discord. The benefits of the partnership also went to Nitro subscribers.
Several interesting titles are also leaving XBOX Game Pass on July 31, 2026.

Some of the standouts that deserve your attention include Celeste and Sniper Elite: Resistance. Celeste is the winner of the Best Independent Game award at The Game Awards 2018. It’s a platformer with a unique story that carries mental health themes one might relate to.
On the other hand, Sniper Elite: Resistance provides players with unmatched sniper rifle mechanics and stealth-based combat across an occupied France.
