Surprise game launches, new demos, and dozens of indie reveals took center stage during Wholesome Direct 2026, one of the busiest showcases of Summer Game Fest.
The event delivered more than 50 announcements and updates. From making dresses to solving puzzles, Wholesome Direct 2026 was packed with charming and often relaxing experiences across multiple genres.
Here's a list of all the new games announced at the event.

Apart from these, Fields of Mistria is getting a full release on August 5, 2026, with brand-new features such as marriage and children.

One of the most interesting launches at the event was Momento. The game received a surprise release on Steam. It is set to release on consoles on June 30, 2026.
Games like Spiritstead and Milki Delivery pulled a similar trick by releasing surprise demos.
Other game demos announced were Lou's Lagoon, Moonlight Peaks, Capy Castaway, Papaya Plaza, Pelican Post, Toem 2, and Froggy Brews.
Additionally, Loftia confirmed a Fall 2026 release window for its Early Access.
Fans also got a new look at various games during the event. For instance, Petal Runner unveiled a brand-new trailer featuring emotional themes such as grief and companionship.
Spirit Crossing, on the other hand, announced a Steam playtest coming soon. Similarly, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit also announced its PC and console release date, July 15, 2026.
A release window was announced for Croakwood, with a Winter 2026 release. Is This Seat Taken? will be released in August 2026, and Dragon Shelter on September 24, 2026.
Finally, Walk The Frog received a September 2026 Nintendo Switch release window.
