For users who love brawling on their virtual screens, WWE games provide a rare chance of emulating their favorite wrestlers inside the ring, albeit without putting themselves in harm's way.
And while it is fun to just brawl too, some iconic finishers are fun to do in the WWE games while also having a devastating impact on our opponents, in PvE and PvP gameplay.
We take a look at 11 finishers we love watching and doing in WWE games.
11. RKO - Randy Orton
One of the most iconic finishers in the WWE universe, Randy Orton's finishing move, the RKO, is immortalized and has gained mainstream popularity.
RKO involves Randy Orton creeping up from behind his opponent to grab his neck and pummel him to the ground or ring mat. The element of surprise in this finisher and the opponent's reaction elevate the RKO to legendary status.
10. Cross Rhodes - Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes has become a modern superstar in the WWE universe. His Cross Rhodes finisher is mean and looks even better on the screens.
Cross Rhodes starts with an inverted facelock before spinning and driving the opponent's face into the ring mat, leaving the receiver devastated and unable to move.
9. Spear - Roman Reigns
The Spear is an icon in the wrestling industry. Performed by the likes of Edge and Goldberg, two of the meanest performers in the WWE universe, it has now been popularized by new-age superstar Roman Reigns.
The spear is notoriously almost always performed by a character who has both protagonist and antagonist arcs in the WWE storylines, and it fits Roman Reigns ideally.
It's a simple move where you charge at your opponent and drive your shoulder into the opponent's abs or stomach area.
8. Tombstone Piledriver - Undertaker
If there is one finisher that used to give us the heebie-jeebies, it is the Tombstone Piledriver. The entire sequence of inverting your opponent in the air, with his head facing the mat and then crushing it on it, before moving onto the pinning maneuver with your tongue out, the finisher added to Undertaker's aura as a dark character.

Nothing is more satisfying than ending a WWE match with the Tombstone Piledriver, as it almost always ends up being the match finisher too.
7. Styles Clash - AJ Styles
A move quite similar to the Tombstone Piledriver, AJ Styles' Styles Clash also involved driving the opponent into the mat.
However, in Styles Clash, you are supposed to hook both the arms of your opponent and then simulate the rest, mostly like the Tombstone Piledriver.
6. Springboard Frog Splash - Rey Mysterio
Immortalized by Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio can use the Springboard Frog Splash in the modern WWE games, as can Eddie Guerrero.
This involves climbing on top of one of the four corner ropes and then launching your body towards the opponent, mostly seen lying on the ground, in a frog-like motion, with the impact also having some effect on your own body too.
5. End of Days - Baron Corbin
Possibly the most underrated finisher and a community favorite in recent WWE games, Baron Corbin's End of Days is a must-have if you are creating your own character, since Baron Corbin's rating means not many users end up choosing him.
This move also involves the opponent being driven face-first into the mat. However, the entire sequence is unique. You grab your opponent in a front facelock, spin him around, lifting him above the ground, and then make them fall forward head-first.
Another finisher that was unlikely to be dodged or kicked out of.
4. Chokeslam - Kane
Chokeslam, like a Spear, is a finisher used by many iconic WWE wrestlers. While Big Show and even Undertaker have used the Chokeslam, Kane used it mostly as a finisher, which associates his name directly with the move.
A simple maneuver where you grab your opponent by the throat, lift, and slam him into the ground. If you want it to look extra glam, use Big Show in the game for the Chokeslam.
3. Pedigree - Triple H
Now, while Triple H has moved on to the management side of the WWE, his finisher, Pedigree, has always received special spotlight. Since the finisher has a slow and menacing buildup, it creates hype that warrants being replicated in the WWE games.
The move is actually quite simple. Triple H locks his opponent between his legs, takes both his arms, and then jumps before driving the opponent into the mat. The menacing Triple H look that follows the finisher actually elevates it more than the entire process.
2. Attitude Adjustment - John Cena
A finisher that looks so simple but actually packs quite a punch is the Attitude Adjustment. John Cena picks his opponent up on his shoulders and then throws the body on the mat.
To be honest, John Cena's legendary status actually makes this finisher more appealing than it actually is. The sheer show of strength when John Cena used the Attitude Adjustment on bigger wrestlers like the Big Show created the lore, and we are happy to repeat it on our screens.
1. Sweet Chin Music - Shawn Michaels
Possibly our favorite finisher in the WWE universe right now, Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music is just so eye-pleasing. To see your opponent fall to the ground after an elevated kick to the face looks so satisfying.
Again, like Triple H, it's Shawn Michaels' buildup with him tapping his foot regularly on the mat to let his opponent know what's coming that adds more meat to it. Unlike the suddenness of a spear or an RKO, these moves feel more ominous since the opponent knows it's coming.
Which WWE finisher do you like to do the most in the recent games?
