Ubisoft has expanded its library on the Xbox Store on PC. Now, players can buy from 80+ games from the app, but this does not skip the complicated Ubisoft Connect launcher.

Here is a list of some of the most popular games available on the app right now:

• Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (Gold Edition)
• Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
• Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (Deluxe Edition)
• Assassin's Creed Odyssey
• Assassin's Creed Mirage
• Assassin's Creed Mirage (Master Assassin Edition)
• Assassin's Creed Shadows
• Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
• Far Cry 3
• The Rogue Prince of Persia
• The Division 2

While the Xbox Store on PC gives you one more place to buy games from, it doesn't come with Xbox Achievements.

If you play any of these games on the console, you'll be able to unlock achievements. However, on PC, this isn't supported even when you purchase Ubisoft games from the Xbox Store, as explained by Pure Xbox.

Furthermore, these games offered on PC also lack cross-save functionality and Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Therefore, in some ways, it's overall just better to purchase said games on the console instead.

Regardless, the addition highlights Ubisoft's intention to expand its presence across stores amid a major restructuring effort.

The company is splitting its operations among five creative houses to better focus on some of its most crucial franchises. This includes the Assassin's Creed games, which recently received a new remake.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced wins praise amid Ubisoft operations shakeup

Ubisoft's Creative House structure ensured that only Vantage Studios would work on the Assassin's Creed games. The shakeup also meant that a lot of the developers who worked on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced were laid off.

However, the game's performance may have surprised many. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sold 3.5 million copies within 14 days of release.

"The strong launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced in early July by Vantage Studios is an encouraging proof point" of the new Creative House structure, said CEO Yves Guillemot in Ubisoft's latest financial report, as per GamesRadar+.

Unfortunately, the big win for Ubisoft may be bittersweet for the 51 staff members laid off from its Barcelona studio. These were developers who helped build the game.
