Atari and Digital Eclipse are reviving Pixar's gaming library for the franchise's 30th anniversary. Toy Story: Retro Roundup! and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition arrive in October.
These collections bring classic 1995 titles and the 2010 sandbox experience to modern platforms.
These two releases are designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the entire franchise. This also gives the fans a chance to revisit some of the series' most memorable games.
As per Atarai's official page, these titles will launch on October 15 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Digital versions will be sold separately.

However, there will be physical bundles containing both releases. The anniversary celebration centers around Toy Story: Retro Roundup! This is a collection that brings together classic games released between 1995 and 2001.
The package includes Toy Story, Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Toy Story Racer, and even Pixar’s A Bug’s Life as bonus content.
All of these titles are coming with modern quality-of-life features such as rewind functionality, save states, and more. There will be practice mode, cheat options, and upgraded visual presentations as well.
On the other hand, Toy Story 3 Complete Edition revives the acclaimed 2010 movie tie-in game. The game offered players an open-ended sandbox experience years before Disney Infinity arrived.
With Toy Story 5 also on the horizon, these classic titles in a completely new package are great treats for the fans, both the OG and the new generation.
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition Brings Back OG systems
The original 2010 game combined a traditional story campaign with the highly praised Toy Box Mode. OG players will get to revisit nostalgic locations such as Andy’s Room and Sunnyside Daycare.
Players will control Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie again. The remaster also retains the character-swapping mechanics, and each of them will have unique abilities. Local co-op gameplay stays as well.
These are the returning features. But if we talk about the additions, then the biggest one has to be the inclusion of the PS3-exclusive content.
This extra Toy Box features the ability to play as Zurg. Along with these features, the remasters will have visual upgrades, improved performance, support for up to 4K resolution, and 60 frames per second.
So, are you excited to dive back into these nostalgic games? Tell us in the comments section.
