All Weapons in Windrose and How to Unlock Them

Windrose does not hand you powers that easily. Almost every weapon you use comes after putting certain effort - exploration, chests, or fights. From Broken Blade to Soul Eater, progression is tied directly to what you find and what you upgrade.

That is why weapon unlocking becomes more than just crafting. Windrose features eight weapon types across melee and ranged combat, each tied to a specific stat and unlock path. Weapons exist in Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic tiers.

This guide covers many of the major weapons in Windrose and exactly how to unlock them.

All Weapon Types in Windrose

Windrose weapons are divided into 8 categories:

  • Rapier, Saber, Greatsword → Scale with Agility
  • Club, Halberd → Scale with Strength
  • Pistol, Musket → Scale with Precision
  • Blunderbuss → Scales with Agility + Precision

Each weapon type also deals Slash, Pierce, or Crude damage, which directly interacts with enemy resistances.

How to Unlock Weapons in Windrose

You can get weapons mainly in four ways in Windrose:

  • Exploration → Find the original weapon to unlock crafting
  • Chests → Pirate, Crypt, and Gardenruin chests drop rare weapons
  • Quests → Specific weapons tied to story or side quests
  • Enemy Drops → Certain weapons drop from biome enemies

After you have got your hands on weapons, most of them can then be crafted using common early metals and resources.
