Grow a Garden 2 is the sequel to the popular Roblox farming simulator, Grow a Garden. Launched on Friday, June 12, the game brings new additions to what was already a loved concept.
A basic farming simulator, Grow a Garden 2, lets you buy crops using Sheckles and Robux (for certain specific ones), plant them, and grow crops from the corresponding seeds.
However, as an upgrade from the original, Grow a Garden 2 has added the concept of Nighttime stealing, a mechanism where players can attempt to steal others' crops in a PvP setting.

While most Roblox developers continue to update the original game, maintaining Grow a Garden has become nearly impossible since it gained virality.
Hence, the developers chose to develop a sequel to allow them to rebuild game mechanics, add certain systems to add new gameplay possibilities, and expand crop varieties.

Since you start with low currency, Carrot is obviously the best choice to start farming with. Cheap multi-harvest seeds like Strawberry and Blueberry are also good for quick and early cash flow.

It's also a good choice to start with these crops because of the new Nighttime Stealing mechanism. Other players are likely to look for more precious loot and leave these crops, and even if someone takes them, you won't end up losing much.

Once you earn enough Sheckles to move to the rare crop seeds, you no longer need to grow the common and uncommon crops. Rather, use them to get mutations to maximize profit.
Grow a Garden 2 has other seed packs too, such as the Starter Pack and Common Seed Pack.
It will be interesting to see how the Grow a Garden fans react to the sequel and the added Nighttime Stealing mechanism, which could make the entire PvP experience more entertaining but also could frustrate others who just want a calm and fun time farming their favorite crops.
