After $5M Announcement, Beast Games Winner Sends a Message to MrBeast

Tyler Lucas is the history-making winner of the Beast Games. The U.S. Air Force pilot took home the $5.1 million prize. Shortly after, he sent a heartfelt message to the event's creator, MrBeast.
As the largest single prize winner in game show history, Tyler took to social media thank show creator Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson, after he received the prize.
“Extremely thankful and blessed to be in this position. @beastgames@MrBeast changed ny family and I’s life forever. Incredibly thankful!” said Tyler, showing proof that the money was in his account.
Tyler, a U.S. Air Force pilot and father of two, brought a seasoned competitive edge to the event. He previously battled through the ranks of NBC’s The Titan Games, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, where a late-stage elimination cut his journey short just days before the finale.
Joseph Torres, another contestant who won a million dollars, said that it took sacrifices, grinding, and days away from family to achieve the milestone.
All about the Beast Games’ Winner
Tyler (player No. 167) faced Cory Sims (player No. 191) in the final challenge of the Beast Games Season 2. The two contestants alternated roles.
While one player wore a blindfold, the other hid a $5 million check inside one of ten suitcases. After removing the blindfold, the player guessed which suitcase held the prize.
After winning, Tyler was unsure how to spend the money, but he plans to invest in his family's future.
Talking with Dexerto, he stated, “I’m kind of playing it safe right now just to make the best decisions with the money. I definitely want to make sure that I do what I can to set my kids up for life.”
